Mainline Employment has a long history of providing effective recruitment solutions to businesses across the South West, and finding the ideal role for countless candidates and subsequently allowing their careers to thrive. But where did it all begin? Here we explore how we got to where we are today.
1990 – Mainline was established in Bristol in 1990 by Stella Weeks.
2000 – The Mainline brand grew from strength to strength over the next 10 years, leading us to open a Swindon branch in 2000.
2005 – Once again Mainline grew exponentially, therefore we opened a second Bristol office in March 2005.
2015 – The year 2015 brought exciting new changes to the Mainline brand, as we were acquired by People Solutions Group (PSG). PSG are the UK’s largest independent recruitment and training group, offering recruitment solutions to businesses throughout the UK. We joined the ranks of a further six fellow recruitment and training businesses, each with their own rich history, experience and recruitment specialities in both permanent and temporary recruitment. These businesses are:

- Flex Recruitment
- Foresight Recruitment Solutions
2017 – Mainline welcomes new Managing Director, Helen Harvey, to the team. Helen joined us with over 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, and very quickly became an integral part of the Mainline team.
The vast amount of experience that the team at Mainline has, as well as the amazing benefits that go hand in hand with being part of the PSG family, has meant that we have a fantastic rate of staff retention. Many of our staff members have been with us for over the 5 – 10-year mark, with some part of the family for an amazing 15 years. The fact that our staff enjoy the work that we do and stay with us for such long periods of time is a testament to both our experience and the amazing company culture that we have created over our years in business.
